Choosing a photographer who captures images you love is super important. But what about the fact that you're going to spend the whole day with these people? You definitely want to make sure they are people you are going to vibe with. So here's where our values lie... First up, this is your day, it's all about you. We are not pushy, we prioritise your experience over everything. You can count on us not only to document your day in a beautiful and organic way. But also to lean on us as timekeepers, organisers, dress fluffers, moment makers, chauffeurs or whatever else may be required of us on the day. We've been doing this for a long time, (you most likely haven't) so our experience is there for you to lean on at any time. Candid photography is a style, but candid moments captured beautifully don't come without thought. It's our job to do the thinking while you to enjoy the day. We make sure the heartfelt moments occur without you planing them. Not only for us to document, but for you to experience and cherish as a beautiful memory some day. We can see when moments are ready to happen. We know when to sneak on some Fleetwood Mac before Dad see's you for the first time. We see when you've had enough and need some down time alone (enter hiding in the bushes with a long focal lens while you accidentally be cute). We know when to get the party started and bring a vibe. We have the emotional intelligence to make sure you're having the day you deserve. From there the photos and video takes care of itself.

OUR STYLE

When it comes to our style we like to think we're 90% candid with a splice of editorial. Most of our clients express that they don't feel 100% comfortable in front of the camera (we feel you). So our plan at every wedding is to keep moving and keep things fun. Prompting over posing is our motto. If you're feeling comfortable and having a good time we will get good photos. So that's we we aim to do. We often hear from our couples that they didn't realise taking photos would be so fun. That's what we always aim to make you feel. In saying that, we still love the editorial vibe, and if our couples feel comfortable, we absolutely love taking the time to set you up and get those magazine cover worthy shots.

Enough about us. What about you? Just as you have a style of photographer you want to work with, we have our dream client too. The most important thing to us is that your photos and video are important to you, and that you value us for our work, style and for who we are. You probably realised by now we aren't really a 'follow you round from a distance type gig.' So we've done our best to make sure that you understand who we are as people, so you can decide if we are the vibe you want present on your day. We want to work with people who really value photography and videography for their wedding! Who have put in the effort to create a style for themselves. We have honed our skills making sure we capture the essence of each wedding we attend. From the colour pallet, flowers, dress, details, venue and everything that makes your wedding your own. We don't only notice these things, we look for them. And we labour over creating content that is uniquely yours. So it's super important to us that those details are also important to you. We are storytellers, and we want every part of your story to be told. If these details aren't important to you, that's absolutely fine. There are a smorgasbord of photographers out there who cater for every style of wedding. But that's our process. And for us to be in our creative and happy space, we need our clients to care about these details as much as we do.
